This private getaway is located off the beaten path on Bar Island in Milbridge, Maine. This 2 bedroom and 1 bath cottage sits overlooking Bobby's Creek. If you're looking for that peaceful and private, look any further! This cottage comfortably sleeps 6 adults.  With private ocean front and sunrise views, this cottage is bright and airy with a screened in front porch. Surrounded by nothing other than the ocean waters, trees, and nature. You will find a kitchen, open living, dining area and two bedrooms and bath. The cottage comes equipped with all major kitchen appliances, working plumbing, working electric, running water, adequate furniture, and a fold out couch. Kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, cups, plates and eating utensils. Bedrooms/Bathroom are equipped with towels/sheets/linens/pillows/blankets.

Right next door is Dorr Lobster Company. Enjoy fresh seafood, exploring the pound, tour of the tank house, and watching local fishing boats haul traps.

 

Things to do in the area:

Only a few minutes away, hiking along the Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge trails in Steuben or take a puffin cruise to Petit Manan Island and light house. 
Visiting the granite shores at McClellan Park in Milbridge.
Exploring Acadia National Park’s Schoodic Peninsula in Winter Harbor by foot, bike, or car, only 20 minutes away.
Or take a day tripping to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, located 45 minutes away. Explore the great shops, restaurants, bike trails and activities for the children.
